Flannel Fest and The Cooperage present the official 2023 PreParty with The Keystones, Alley Eyes, Social Cig, and Tigera!
The Keystones are an alternative modern-rock band based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Born in Waukesha, the very same place as the electric guitar, the members of this unique, out-of-the-box rock group hail from the golden era of grunge guitar, one that’s full of heavy tones and hypnotizing garage beats that dance between Brit-indie-rock and new-age modern rock sounds. They’re a far cry from the glitzy, indie pop groups that seem to fall out of the woodwork these days, and they’re okay with that. Why? Because their goal isn’t to find the glossiest sound. In fact, it’s much bigger than that: they want to make the town that created the guitar as we know it proud.
Alley Eyes is a Milwaukee based garage rock band, where last call love songs meet indifferent odes to modernity, where seedy guitar riffs meet haunting synth lines, where desert psychedelic rock meets John Carpenter themes…
Social Cig is the ‘Indie-Skate-Rock’ music project of Parker Schultz. Consisting of contagious authenticity, cheery live shows, sticky lyrics, and cultivating an original story with an attitude of gratitude, Social Cig is creating full-circle moments. While leafing through US music scenes with an ambitious DIY approach and writing songs that capture a genuine outlook from a modern-day Midwest cowboy, Social Cig has become a well-rounded grassroots venture.
Tigera is an Alternative Pop Rock quintet based out of Milwaukee, WI. Taking inspiration from the forerunners of the Garage Rock revival of the early 00’s and Pop Rock outfits of the 70’s and 80’s, Tigera has developed a unique sound that flirts with danceable disco-adjacent grooves and over-the-top rock machismo.
