Club Ritual is focused on promoting a broad spectrum of underground dance music.
Influenced by the classic sounds of the Chicago, Detroit and the greater midwest, Asher Gray ’s music spans the spectrum of nostalgic rave, electro, spacey house and deep Chicago jack. A multi‐instrumentalist and production veteran he has released music on labels such as Nervous NYC, Grandcity Records, Disposable Commodities with two EPs, his vinyl debut XLT & tape release Shapes On Waves and a forthcoming release coming out on label Formed By Glaciers later this year. As well as producing original music Asher has been djing around the US and throwing his own monthly underground events around Milwaukee since 1998. Parties like Fresh 2 Death, Le Freak, Club Ritual, and Funky Fruit have been a staple for the electronic music community in the city and abroad. His passion for underground music and culture fuels his energetic performances bringing people together from all walks of life on one dance floor.
