The Cooperage is Harbor District’s riverside hub for live music, private parties, and special events. Named for the building’s storied past, our brick walls once housed Milwaukee’s cooper’s trade: the manufacturing of barrels and casks. Nowadays, we’ve assembled a sort of grown-up playground, where fun-seekers can find pedal-powered taverns, some of the best tacos in town, craft cocktails, an electric music venue, and a killer event space.

From wedding wonders to corporate carousing, The Cooperage morphs to meet your needs. Say “I do” in our garden along the Kinnickinnic River, a view of the Hoan Bridge framing the scene. Step inside and host a festive shindig or sumptuous soirée under our exposed brick and string lights. Our interior space seats up to 175-200 and accommodates many more for a night spent in your boogie shoes.
