A Collaborative Arts Show: Timeless Travel
Good design captures the imagination of all generations and can live forever. That’s what an all-star ensemble of Milwaukee artists are bringing to the Cooperage in a fall fashion collaborative arts showcase. It’s so fashion-forward it hasn’t even happened yet.
General Admission: $12
VIP: $22 (includes early entrance, seat for show, goodie bag)
6:00 pm: VIP Entrance
7:00 pm: General Admission
8:00 pm: Fashion + Music Show
Musical artist:
Fauxny, the pop project of singer and multi-instrumentalist Peter Vartanian, will be joined by his band to perform his most recent work, songs to do with his return home to Milwaukee from Australia and the search for meaning in the landscape of tomorrow.
Runway artists:
Kirsten Schmid, who makes one-off clothing channeling her interest in poetry and public parks into well-made, everyday staples with a focus on sustainability, will partner with Niffich, who hand marbles and sews clothing made in small batches of color and shape. Together, they will introduce their styles on the runway in a collection of handmade goods.
Cival Collective and Orange and Blue will collaborate to make an exclusive line of jewelry with Covet and Ginger. This run will also feature The Loom House in an unconventional presentation of vintage rugs and textiles.
Plume will present a curated fall/winter collection that explores structure, form, lines and texture in partnership with visual artist Bigshot Robot, who has imbued select pieces with color, shape and pattern. Ready to wear pieces inspired by the collection will be available for purchase. All runway pieces will also be for sale after the event.
Amity Loft will create signature hair and makeup looks for each runway presentation.
The after party will take place at Boone & Crockett where Xexyz will DJ.
